Learn About the Bunker Kings Masks

Bunker Kings made famous in the early days of the 2000's by their soft goods like headband and headwraps and never been content to just settle with what they were doing have expanded their catalog continuously over the years. Their first foray into making goggle systems for paintball started with a Kick Starter Campaign. The CMD is the product of that campaign and has quickly become a fan favorite mask. The CMD mask, pronounced Command, has quite a few features packed into it such as the Trifecta Anti-Fog System and many others. Their philosophy for the CMD is Breathe, See Communicate and this philosophy leads to one of the highest performing masks on the field today.

Integrated Micro-Visor

The CMD boasts of an Integrated Micro-Visor in their construction, this visor does quite a few things for the player. The visor helps to prevent glare on the lens so that you always have excellent clear vision when on the playing field. The Micro-Visor also helps prevent scratches on your lens when you take your goggle and place it down. This small visor provides enough protection that should your mask fall or roll the visor prevents the lens from coming into contact with the table or ground. The visor has helps prevent moisture and paint leaking into the lens keeping your lens in playing condition for longer than if you did not have the visor.

Anatomical Face Plate

Bunkerkings put in tremendous research into the construction of their face plate and it shows when you try the mask on. The face plate is specifically designed to provide optimal mouth and nose clearance. No one likes a mask where their nose and lips sit on the face plate and that is not a problem you will have with the CMD goggles from Bunker Kings. The face plate is designed with soft flex zones that are meant to absorb and redirect the paintball instead of the paintballs hitting your face. The face plate has communication in mind being developed to not echo when you are speaking or communicating with your teammates unlike other goggle systems.

Supreme Comfort

The foam of the CMD was reimagined from the ground up to be the most comfortable goggles you will wear even if you wear it for hours. The new foam is wider, this widening of the foam spreads it out over a larger area reducing the pressure on your face when wearing the mask. The foam also comes with a layer of fine microfiber for supreme comfort. On top of all these features of the foam the foam is completely replaceable coming on a tray that can be replaced in a snap. Ultra-Wide Goggle Strap

The New Ultra-Wide Goggle Strap found on the CMD is a great relief for the player. The wider strap comes with a sticky grip print on the inside of the strap to prevent slippage, keeping your mask secure while in use. The wider strap also provides the benefit of increased contact area for reduced pressure on your head alleviating the problems of headaches from wearing a goggle system. New buckles for the strap slide easily for adjustment but lock in place while in use preventing the strap from loosening while playing. As of right now the CMD is the only goggle system from Bunker Kings on the market, with how well it performs we are excited to see what comes from them next in the goggle department.
