Paintball remote lines are awesome accessories for players that don't want the weight of the air tank on their paintball gun but instead want to wear it on their back. Each remote system offers different features and different options depending on your needs. Remote lines can be very helpful for many different types of players. From your tactical style players looking to lighten up their marker set up or the young player who wants to play so badly but can hold their marker up with the tank attached. Remote lines have all sorts of uses to make it easier for you to get out there and play!

There are many different types of remote lines made by many different companies. Ninja Paintball is one of the most common remote lines to see in paintball. Other companies make them too like HK Army, Empire and Tippmann!

Remote Line Types

There are many types of remote lines to pick from, Ninja makes a few different styles for all types of play. Ninja makes two different types of hoses for their remote lines, the straight bore and coiled. Coiled is the most common type of remote line you will see on the field, the attachment on the remote line can differ. Straight bore lines is starting to become the new normal for remote lines. More and more players are switching over due to it not getting caught on tree branches or bushes while playing. How a straight bore line helps not getting stuck when you are crawling around in the woods, is due to it not having any stretch to it like the coiled line. This does not make the coiled line a bad remote but it is something to keep in mind when making your purchase. If you think you will be deep in the brush or crawling around trying to get that shot, check out the straight bore. Currently Ninja Paintball offers two types of attachments for their remote lines, the standard quick disconnect and the slide check.

Remote Line Attachments

Remote lines are more than just an air hose to get air from your tank to your marker. Putting an assisted attachment to help with turning you air off makes your day of play that much easier. The Slide Check is the most common style of attachment to add to your remote line. This allows you to turn the air off to your marker without having to turn the on/off on the top of the tank. It is a simple slide valve that wont leak when you turn it to the off position. This allows you to disconnect your marker and take a break with out getting fully de-geared to get a drink or relax. Nothing is worse then taking all your gear off to rest and having to get ready in a flash when the group is going back out to play. The other attachment that is no longer sold is the PTC ( Push to Connect ), this attachment was awesome due to it being one button your had to press to detach the line from your marker. Sadly this attachment had some issues with leaks and many customers did not want to replace seals so often. Ninja has since discontinued this attachment due to the feedback they got from players.

Remote lines are a great way to get out and play without killing yourself with all the weight. If you are in to the tactical side of paintball or a smaller player who wants to lighten up their set up, we highly recommend
