Learn About Paintball Pod Fillers, Caddies and Ball Haulers

Paintball hauler or paintball caddies as some call them are one of the best investments a player can make. These items are usually under twenty dollars and are a great paintball gift idea. The paintball hauler holds around 1000 paintballs and is great for storing paint when you have extra left over after a a day at the local paintball field. These paintball storage containers are hard in structure which protect the paintballs from getting smashed inside. The spouts on the paintball caddies are perfectly sized to help you refill your paintball pods or hoppers during game play. In 2004 the paintball caddy debuted at a national paintball tournament in California and most of us who played back then thought, " Who in the this world would use this?" Now, almost 20 years later the paintball caddy is one of the most useful and money saving accessories available in the paintball world. Learn why it is so popular for the reasons we explain below!

Saves You Money

If you have ever had left over paintballs you know they can be a pain to keep and store safely. Usually the bag or box opens up, they spill everywhere and make a mess. The paintball ball hauler or caddy as some call it has a lid system that snaps closed to help prevent any accidental spills. This alone can keep you from buying extra paintballs the next time you head out to the field that doesn't let you bring your own paintballs from another place.

The Purpose

The main design behind the paintball hauler is to make it easier to refill your hopper and pods. Once you load paintballs into the caddy you can easily refill your hopper without ripping a hole in a bag and doing your best not to spill them everywhere. This is another way that the caddy saves you money over time.

Capacity

Most caddys hold a little more than 2 bags of paintballs which is one thousand paintballs or half of a case. If you decide to get a caddy don't open the other bags until you are ready to use them. If you live in a humid city the paintballs can be effected by the humidity if you open them and let them sit out exposed to the air. This can cause performance issues while you're playing.

Storing Paintballs

Do you only play once or twice a month and sometimes take the summer off because it is too hot or the winters are too cold? The caddy is a great place to keep your extra paintballs safely and securely in your down time. The caddy is a small plastic container about the same size as a gallon of milk so it doesn't take up much room in your house or gear bag.

Paintball Caddy Pricing

The most popular caddys are made by Gen X Global or Hk Army at the time of writing this. The two designs offer a few differences and the price reflects those differences. The Gen X caddy includes two plastic lids that can be lost while the Hk Army ball hauler used two lids that are hinged and attached to the plastic container. This is a great feature as you can't lose the lids at all!

The price range of the two will be anywhere from fifteen dollars to twenty five dollars. Both caddys are a a great choice and you will enjoy them when refilling your paintball pods or hopper between games.
