Virtue has their product all over paintball and goggles are no exception. Virtue has goggles like the Vio contour , contour II , and the Ascend. The Ascend is a staple for the mid-range to high range style goggles.

This goggle is priced around one hundred dollars. Although a little high for a mid range mask, it does come with an upgraded smoke lens instead of a basic clear lens. The lens is thermal, meaning it will not fog up as you are playing paintball. The goggle is a one piece goggle with no detachable ear pieces. However, this goggle still has the features of the higher end Contours. Such as, easy removable foam, same simple lens change system, and similar in size.

Vio Ascend Size

While its the little brother to the Vio Contour size is still adequate covering a majority of the sides of your head while still coming down in the front to cover a little over your chin. With all the protection the Ascend still gives plenty of ventilation to breath in front of the mouth, by the nose and along the cheeks. being all rubber there are parts on the goggle that are more rigged such as the nose and frame area for better protection. while still having a softer ear to keep from feeling uncomfortable on your ears. Also, having ventilation on top of the goggles and leaving room for a visor if you would want to add one later. while, Still have a decent color selection from the Ascends, and more colors keep coming out.

Vio Lens Options

When it comes to getting a new lens Virtue keeps the customer in mind by keeping lens prices lower than the competition. An average lens for a goggle can be from $24.95- $59.95. Compared to Virtue with a range of $34.95-$49.95 for any smoke HD or clear lens. All Vio lenses are thermal, making them an anti-fog lens. If fogging is still an issue virtue does sell a visor fan that helps with getting the hot air out and reducing fogging up. These fans fit perfectly underneath the virtue visor keeping it protected while helping with ventilation.

Cleaning on this goggle is very easy. With easy removal foam and lens system, you're able to tank out both items and simply rinse and wash your goggles without ruining your foam or having to wait for it to dry off.

When buying this goggle. It comes with the goggle itself with an upgraded lens, as well as a goggle bag to help keep your new goggle protected. The goggle does come with an adjustable strap to help get the perfect fit on your head. A buckle style chin strap to help keep the goggles on your face. This will also be needed if you are wanting to play tournaments.
