Paintball tank accessories can go as small or as large that you want to. The one thing we all say you should have on your tank is a Nipple cover. These small accessories cover up the fill port on your tank to keep it from getting damaged. not to mention keep dirt and grim out of it while playing paintball. These are one of those things that can go a long way in the life of your regulator. Keeping the dirt out will make you have less problems with your tank over time. such as needing to be serviced more frequently or even change O-rings less. Nipple covers can range from $2- $12. Some will be magnetic; others just hook on with a loop. no matter the cover it will help in the long run.

While talking about protecting the internals of the tank the outside of the tank is just as important. Thread savers are used on the top of a tank when off the gun to keep from not only your tank threads getting damaged. Kind of like a cap on a soda bottle it screws on the threads protecting them from a nasty fall, or even just to make sure the O-ring on the tank stays on and undamaged. As an add on most companies will have a place to hold extra O-rings for the tank and even put some on so you don't forget.

These cases can't fit all tanks but can fit a majority of them with no problem. Any tank that is bigger than an 80/4500 will not fit due to the large side of the tank. Also, any tank smaller than a 48/3000 will rattle around in the case due to the smaller nature of the bottle and the strap not being able to secure it down.

Another thing used to protect the outside of a tank is a tank cover. Tank covers are used as an almost second layer of skin for the tank to protect it. not only helping with protection with your tack but adding a rubber texture to help with grip on your shoulder.
