Learn About the Azodin Kaos 3

Watch our Azodin Kaos 3 Shooting Video here!

The Azodin Kaos 3 is the newest iteration of the Kaos paintball marker from Azodin.  It has some new features from the Kaos 2 that are considerably upgrades.  Lighter weight than the previous model this gun is fun to use and hold.  The new grip frame is a great upgrade that clearly sets apart the Kaos 3 from the Kaos 2.  Then the adjustable regulator is giving players the fine tuning that they want.  The Kaos 3 is really shaping up to be a solid hit in the new player market.

What barrel comes on the Azodin Kaos 3?

The Kaos 3 features a 12-inch honed bore barrel.  This barrel looks good on the gun and is a great starter paintball barrel being able to shoot any 68 caliber paintballs you buy at the field or local shop.  The black color of the barrel matches well with the black pieces of the gun making it look ready to get out there and win some paintball games.   It is well ported which helps reduce the sound of the gun, a good thing for trying to stay sneaky out in the woods.

How much does the Kaos 3 weight?

The Kaos 3 weighs in at just under two pounds making it an extremely lightweight gun.  Its size being under nine inches tall and nineteen inches long help this gun be wieldy along with its light weight.  The low weight and functional size mean that this is a great gun for players of any age and size.  If you are looking for a kid friendly gun this is surely one to consider.

What feedneck comes on the Kaos 3 paintball gun?

Have you ever been playing paintball and your hopper just starts moving in the feed neck or the worst-case scenario happens, it completely falls from the gun?  If you have then good news, the as odin chaos 3 comes with Screw Lock Feed Necks.  What this means is that the feed neck’s collar is adjustable so that it will fit snugly onto any hopper on the market from a Gen X 200 Round Hopper all the way to the high end Dye hoppers.  To use the adjustable feed neck is easy, all you need to do is loosen the screw in the collar, then install your chosen hopper, take your 2.5mm Allen Wrench, included in the parts kit, and tighten down the adjustment screw to the desired tightness and you are good to go.  No more having your hopper spin around backwards making it hard to load in the middle of game.  The days of your hopper falling off as you run down the field, a thing of the past.  The Screw Lock Feed Neck is the perfect thing for holding your hopper secure.

Does the Kaos 3 have a regulator?

The Regulator on the Kaos 3 is now adjustable externally, meaning that you have more options in setting up your gun.  Traditionally the way one would adjust the velocity on a Kaos paintball gun would be to adjust the velocity adjustment screw.  Now with the Adjustable Feather Regulator standard on the Kaos 3 you can finely tune your paintball marker.  This means with adjustment, trial and error, and a little patience you can make your Kaos 3 Paintball gun shoot incredibly smooth.

What does the Azodin kaos 3 feel like?

The new grip frame design the Nylon M Grip Frame is a welcome feature on the Kaos 3.   This new frame is lighter weight, reducing the overall weight of the gun so that more people can use it comfortably.  In addition to the lighter weight the frame has a new smaller size.  Not being as wide as previous models this new frame fits comfortably in the hand.  Fingers wrap around the grips gracefully, and the slight tapering down as the grip frame gives way to the ASA makes the gun just a joy to hold.  The new frame still holds the double trigger that players have come to expect from Kaos.  The movement is smooth and easy even when aired up.  The trigger while not adjustable is light weight and short enough that it can be pulled exceptionally fast.  This is an amazing and wanted upgrade for the gun.

Is the Kaos 3 hard to clean?

The Kaos 3 is still insanely easy to strip down and maintenance.  The quick pull bolt pin moves in and out of its locking hole easily.  With a quick removal of the back cap, you are immediately able to access the internals of the gun for cleaning and applying lube.  The swiveling air through collar on the regulator allows for the regulator to be effortlessly removed from the gun while the hosing and frame are still attached to the gun.  After that, just two screws keep you from completely disassembling the gun.  One in the vertical ASA that the regulator screws into and then the Valve Retention screw.  Once those screws are removed you have access to absolutely everything that makes the gun work.  Only thing left is the ball detents, these are little rubber nubbins that prevent the paintball from rolling down the barrel when you are not shooting your gun.  To get to these ball detents just under the feed neck on both sides of the gun are little plates with a screw in them.  Remove the screw and you have access to cleaning or replacing the ball detents.

Is the Kaos 3 better than the Tippmann Stormer?

The Tippmann Stormer Basic is one of the newer Tippmann paintball guns and is a cool looking gun for sure and comes with all the Tippmann reliability backing it but how does it compare to the new Kaos 3 from Azodin?  If looks are your thing and you like that tactical look that calls to you the Tippmann Stormer is a great choice.  If you are looking for performance, light weight, and ease of maintenance then the Kaos 3 should be catching you eye.

The Kaos 3 is a paintball gun, and it does not try to pretend to be something else, because of this the gun is singularly focused on paintball and performing on the field.  Without the tactical look the Kaos 3 can be completely disassembled in 4 screws, you need to remove 13 screws to take apart the Stormer Basic completely.  There is no easy way to get to the internals to oil them on the Stormer from Tippmann, but the Azodin Kaos 3 just remove the back cap and pull up on the quick pull bolt pin and all the internals that need regular maintenance or lube are in your hands.
