All About the Tippmann Multi-Cal Hopper
Tippmann came out with a hopper for 2 different calibers .68 & .50 Cal. The Tippmann Multi-Cal hopper is great for the player who has both caliber markers or is looking for a hopper to hold a lot of .50 Cal paintballs, 340 .50 Cal paintballs!!! For .68 Cal paintballs is holds closer to 100. Due to the difference in sizes of paintballs in the paintball world, Tippmann had to be one of the first to come out with a all in one hopper. Just like normal they went above and beyond with the design. From the removable .50 Cal paintball insert that can easily be swapped back and forth for different markers. To the flexible hinged lid prevents breaking your lid off during those rough days of play or accidental drop on the ground! It is made out of the same reinforced plastic they make the Tippmann Cyclone hopper with. The mouth of the hopper is big enough to allow a easy fill in tight spots with a pod or from the bag of paintballs. You can also install a speed-feed if you are counting your precious seconds while in battle.
Tippmann Features and Upgrades
The Tippmann Multi-Cal hopper is great for the every day player looking to save some paintball per a game when using with .68 cal or looking to carry a lot if using .50 cal. The shell is made of the same tough reinforced plastics they use on many other hoppers in the paintball world. The lid is our favorite part, you can take the lid and turn it 180 degrees with out it breaking off the hopper! You can forget to close you lid, drop it and fall on it and the lid will still be there, just dust off the dirt and fill it back up with paintballs! Now if you are like me and want to up your refill game, I would check out the Exalt Universal Feedgate. They offer it in many different colors to match your gear or marker. This does require you to take your Tippmann Multi-Cal Hopper apart but it is very easy to do. Once you have it apart you can install the Exalt Universal Feedgate and see how much easier it is to fill you hopper up! No more opening the lid just to shut it right back 30 seconds later! There are many different types of feedgates or speed feeds but the Exalt is perfect for the Tippmann Multi-Cal Hopper!
The low profile, interchangeable calibers and border line indestructible lid of the Tippmann Multi-Cal hopper is what makes this hopper an awesome entry level to experienced players hopper, that is under $20!
