The Empire Axe Pro is the penultimate Axe from Empire.  This version of the Axe took all of the good things from the Axe platform and did away with the unfavorable ones. The gun fits well in the hands and is lightweight. When holding the gun you can imagine yourself playing tight to a bunker and getting eliminations with ease using it.   Being at home on the air ball field or out in the woods the Axe Pro still has the ruggedness to get the job done no matter where you play.

Ergonomics

One of the biggest complaints of the Empire Axe 2.0 is how it feels in the hands.  Many people feel that the gun is not spread out enough for them to be comfortable holding the gun. Empire listened to this criticism and worked to perfect it on the Empire Axe Pro. The gun is considerably more stretched out than previous models, allowing your arms to relax and hold the gun comfortably without feeling like you squished up on top of the marker. The foregrip has a nice design that fits easily into your hands neither being too big or too small to hold comfortably.  The pistol grip of the grip frame is a standard 45 frame that fits well with the gun and ensures a good grip making the gun incredibly wieldy.  

Bolt System

The bolt system of the Axe removes easily with a simple push button release that backs the bolt right out of the back of the gun making getting to it for regular maintenance a breeze. This engine has been tuned for performance at the highest levels of paintball being able to shoot any tournament grade paint like Empire Evil paintballs. This is achieved from the lower pressure design allowing the gun to be unbelievably soft on any paint. The Axe Bolt System is capable of shooting 10 pods off of an Empire 68ci 4500psi tank. That is 1400 shots before running out of air, a pretty large amount of paint to shoot in any game.

Empire Relay Regulator

The Relay Regulator makes a comeback in a smaller package than the original Axe's Relay Regulator. This moves the regulator out of the way of your hands making the gun more comfortable to hold over all. The Relay Regulator of the Empire Axe Pro delivers the same outstanding performance you have come to expect from it on previous models all the while being in this new smaller package. The On/Off Lever has been reimagined, flipping on and off easily but recessing into the regulator housing so that it is out of the way when the air is turned on. Adjusting the regulator is easy with a simple allen key that is included in your parts kit. The gauge on the side tells you what you are adjusting the pressure too so you can truly fine tune your Axe Pro for the exact shot you are looking for.

Axe Pro Redline Board

The Empire Axe Pro comes standard with the Redline Board with OLED Screen. The board uses a 5 direction joystick to turn on the gun and navigate the menus and options. No more trigger clicks until you are at the right setting. This is a pretty significant upgrade because the screen tells you exactly what your settings are at and other information without having to remember what colored LED lights mean. The fully legible screen with bright display gives you all the information you could want from battery power to game time. Adjusting settings is a breeze because you can literally read what the gun is set to and what you are changing it to without needing a manual handy to know how many clicks you need to set the setting to what you want.  Overall this is a huge upgrade in quality of life over previous iterations of the Axe.

The Empire Axe Pro is a huge step up in performance and quality of life changes from the Axe. The new ergonomics make it feel like a high end gun at a mid level price.
