VIDEO - How to Choose the Best Paintball Lens

Thermal Lenses

A thermal paintball lens is a dual pain lens that prevents your mask from fogging up at all. If you are shopping for paintball masks and tired of the rental masks at the paintball field fogging up on you then be sure your new mask includes a thermal lens!

Anti Fog Lenses

The difference between a thermal lens and an anti fog lens is that an anti fog lens is a single pane lens that just has a coating on it to help keep it from fogging up. The anti fog lens is a short term fix and usually found on paintball masks that cost under forty dollars.

Reflective Lenses

If you have been at the paintball field and seen a super cool, shiny paintball mask and lens this most likely was a high end, thermal lens. The reflective lenses are available by Dye in the Dyetanium version, Vforce in the HDR version and JT in the Prizm version. The main difference between a standard thermal lens and a reflective lens is mainly just the look of the lens and the fact the reflective lenses are darker to see through.
